What is required on the Select Lines step?What is required on the Select Lines step?

On the Select Lines step, you must select all lines that you want to submit a response.  You can either select the check box next to the Group to select all lines within that Group or manually select the lines of interest.  

All lines will still appear on the Respond to Lines Step; however, the Response Type defaults to Not Applied for the lines that were not selected on the Select Lines step and the Response Type defaults to Applied for the lines that were selected on the Select Lines step.

On the Respond to Lines step you must indicate the Response Type for each line.  

  • The Response Type defaults to Not Applied for the lines that were not selected on the Select Lines step and the Response Type defaults to Applied for the lines that were selected on the Select Lines step.

  • You can hide the lines where the Response Type is set to Not Applied by selecting Hide Not Applied Lines from the page level menu.  

  • You can display the lines where the Response Type is set to Not Applied by selecting Unhide Not Applied Lines from the page level menu.

Select the Line Item Preferences button to indicate if you want to be considered for the selected Preference by selecting the Include check box.  All other fields are protected and are inferred from the Grant Funding Opportunity transaction.

This step allows you to identify the active areas covered by the grant opportunity. This section also provides a Comments section that allows you to enter additional information regarding your overall response up to 1500 characters.  Note: Attachments can be added as part of the Add Attachments step.

The Add Attachments step allows you to add attachments to your Grant Funding Application. You can also remove attachments that you do not want to include with your application.

What is required as part of the Review & Submit Step?What is required as part of the Review & Submit Step?

This step allows you to review your application before submitting. If any information is not correct, then please navigate to the corresponding step and make the updates that are needed. Once all updates have been made, then return to the Review & Submit step, verify all information, and then click the Submit Application button.

How do I move to the next step?How do I move to the next step?

Select the Continue button at the top of the Grant Funding Application page to move to the next Step.

How do I save my application without submitting?How do I save my application without submitting?

Select the Save & Close button to save your application. This saves your response but does not submit your application. You can access your saved applications from the My Applications page, which is accessed by selecting Grant Opportunities > Grant Application > My Applications from the Primary Navigation Panel. After opening a previously saved application, select Edit Response to edit your application.

Note: Changes are only saved if you select the Save & Close button. Clicking the Continue button to move to the next step does not save changes.

Select the Exit button to close the Grant Application page without saving any changes. Note: Changes are only saved if you select the Save & Close button.  Clicking the Continue button to move to the next step does not save changes.  

How do I delete an application?How do I delete an application?

You can delete an application by selecting the Discard Application action from the page-level menu.

How do I view general information about the Grant Opportunity?How do I view general information about the Grant Opportunity?

Select the information icon next to the Grant Application ID.  A pop-up window will appear with additional information about the referenced opportunity.

How do I navigate to the Grant Opportunity?How do I navigate to the Grant Opportunity?

Select View Grant from the page-level menu to transition to the Grant Opportunity View page for the referenced Grant Opportunity. You can select the Back button to return to your Grant Application.
