If your organization is not listed in the results, then you could not be found in the system based on the information you searched by.  Please make sure you entered your search criteria correctly.  You may change your criteria on this page and Search again.  Try using your criteria with wildcard characters (See Wildcard Search Examples).  If you’re doing business as an individual, try searching by Company because your organization may have been entered in the system as a Company instead of an Individual.  If you are currently engaged in business activity and your organization is still not appearing, please access the Contact Us link located at the top of the page to contact support for assistance.

What does the "Activated" column mean in the search results?What does the "Activated" column mean in the search results?

If you see a grid displayed with results, the value in the “Activated?” column indicates if you are activated in VSS.

  • If the value is No, then you already have done business or submitted your information, but do not have a VSS account.  Click on the Activate Your Account action found in the 3-dot menu to establish your account.

  • If the value is Yes, then you or someone else from your company has already activated your company’s account in VSS and should have a User ID to log in as a VSS user from the home page.  

  • If the value is In Process, then you or someone else from your company has already begun activating in VSS but has not completed it.  Select the Click to Continue Registration action found in the 3-dot menu to complete your activation.

You should search under the Individual heading if your business Taxpayer Identification is a Social Security Number (SSN), Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN), or Adoption Taxpayer Identification Number (ATIN).  Otherwise, if your business Taxpayer Identification is an Employee Tax Identification Number, search under Company.

What happens after selecting the Cancel Registration button?What happens after selecting the Cancel Registration button?

You can select the Cancel Registration button on all of the registration pages. After selecting the button you will be notified that by cancelling your registration all of the information entered during the process will be deleted. Select the OK button to confirm cancellation, or select the Cancel button if you do not want to cancel your registration.

Responsibilities of the Primary Account Administrator:

  • Grant VSS account access to other individuals in their organization.

  • Designate another individual to perform the role of the Primary Account Administrator.

  • Primary point of contact to receive all emails related to your account status.  

  • Primary point of contact for other individuals in your organization requesting VSS account access (or a password reset).
