Tax Information can be found on the Tax Information Search page, which can be accessed from the Financial Inquiries Landing menu on the Primary Navigation Panel (left side).  This search page allows you to search for your tax information data on file. You can further refine your search by entering a specific calendar year to search for. If the Calendar Year is not specified, the search results display the entire payee/vendor’s tax information for all available years.

After searching for your tax information, you are able to see at a quick glance, the Calendar Year, Tax Type, 1099-S Form Number, Payer Name, and Tax Amount information.

There are three links displayed in the search results grid on the Tax Information Search page:

  • View link (in Tax Summary column) – takes you to the Tax Summary page which displays information about the selected tax form such as TIN number, Address, Box, Type and Total Paid Amount.

  • View link (in Payments column) – takes you to the Reported Payments by Tax Form page which displays a listing of the individual payments reported to the IRS for the particular form selected.

  • PDF link (in Tax Forms column) – displays a PDF version of the selected tax form.

Tax forms coming from certain agencies that are external to the system, do not contain data on the specific Checks or EFTs that are reported on the particular tax form. If you do not see a View link displayed in the Payments column, it means that access to view the payments that have been reported for the particular tax form are not available since the tax form originated from a particular external agency. If the Payments column for a particular tax form displays a View link, upon clicking this link, it takes you to the Reported Payments by Tax Form page, which displays a listing of the individual payments reported to the IRS for the particular form selected.

You can enable or disable TIN masking using the TIN_MASKING Application Parameter. To enable TIN masking refer to the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Application Parameter page.

  2. Search for the TIN_MASKING parameter.

  3. Select Edit from the row-level menu of the TIN_MASKING record.

  4. Change the Parameter Value to Yes to enable TIN masking on tax forms. Note: Set the value to No to disable.

  5. Click on the Save action to save the Application Parameter record to enable TIN masking.

System configuration has masked the TIN on generated tax forms for security reasons. You should recognize the last four digits as your TIN. Federal authorities strongly advise the masking of sensitive data.
